Artist, Sukanta Das : “I love to use subtle hues and tones to portray their interdependence and symbiotic relationships.”

Associating life and mythology with nature comes naturally to artist Sukanta Das. Sukanta Das is an established artist based in Kolkata. He has done several solo and group shows successfully in India and abroad.
As an artist, I am primarily inspired by the human body and nature. I love to use subtle hues and tones to portray their interdependence and symbiotic relationships. My canvases are a homage to the stories of celestial love and the ethereal co-existence of nature with humans. Mythological representation of this interconnection fabricates a new world of symbolic fantasy that celebrates sublime love.
