Artist, Arjun Das : “Art captures the heart of the Artist”

Artist Arjun Das is a rising artist with an absolute zeal for redefining the culture of artisanship. He uses a vibrant color palette on the canvas to reflect mixed moods of his subjects. His artworks mainly consists of religious and spiritual paintings. Mainly Gautam Buddha who is also known as Siddhārtha Gautama, Shakyamuni Buddha, or simply the Buddha, after the title of Buddha, was an ascetic and sage, on whose teachings Buddhism was founded.

Arjun enjoys many hours of drawing and painting directly from nature and live models, all his paintings originate from that experience. Over the years many different possibilities arose experimenting with colors and forms. His work swings between figurative and religious, the latter being most apparent.
