A highly gifted artist, Das The Buddha and Krishna are recurring protagonists in the Kolkata-born artist’s works, who focuses on the sublime and the poetic aspects of ancient Indian myths and legends. A favourite theme is the divine love story of Radha and Krishna, depicted as two young, besotted lovers.
