Born in the picturesque city of Mangalore in 1971, Praveen Kumar is an artist whose canvas mirrors his profound affinity for architectural intricacies. He embarked on his artistic journey by pursuing a BFA in painting from DMS Mysore, where his passion for art was nurtured. Praveen’s artistic odyssey can be described as an autodidactic exploration, driven by a deep-seated interest in art and a compelling need to visually articulate his thoughts and emotions from an early age.

Praveen Kumar’s artistic oeuvre resonates with a profound understanding of architecture, a theme that beautifully unfolds in his paintings. His solo exhibitions and participation in art camps across India attest to his artistic prowess, placing him firmly on the creative map. Praveen has also showcased his works in numerous group exhibitions, both within India and on foreign shores, transcending borders to share his artistic vision with the world.

Recognized for his artistic brilliance, Praveen Kumar has been bestowed with prestigious awards, including the All India Lokamanya Tilak Art Foundation award in Pune in 2005 and the Lalitha Kala Academy award in Karnataka in 2008. His artistic creations have found a cherished place in private and public collections, not only in India but also abroad. Beyond his artistic pursuits, Praveen serves as an Art Director at Mesmerizers and lends his creative expertise to freelance architectural design projects in the vibrant city of Bengaluru.
