Artist, Vijender Sharma : “Art is a way to display our inner self by colours or any other ways.”

Born in Delhi, Vijender Sharma completed his MFA in painting in 1990. He is a gold medallist from the Delhi College of Art. He presents art in a more shaded feeling, than many of his contemporaries, influenced by realism. Vijender Sharma paintings carry a strong narrative, as he paintings hyper realistic abstractions and studies of human portraits and choreographed compositions. Vijender is particularly attracted to subjects that look beneath the surface of the modern world – to create corollaries where even a stone wall seems to have a secret life.
