Born in 1983, Artist, Anasuya Bommanaboina’s works are inspired by bright and vibrant coloured characters of Hindu mythology. Anasuya has a routine of often visiting the Hindu temples which gradually built her interest for the details towards the decorative and godly figures and interiors, which is clearly depicted in her style.
Amongst the details of deities and temple sculptures her most favourite objects are the jewellery of deities and various shapes of bells, that are seen in most of her paintings. Along with the ancient designs, the chromatic combinations of nature-inspired her considerably. Use of bright colours and selection of dynamic red as the background for all her works is the uniqueness of her work.
