The Clients—a police officer and a doctor—wanted to have a home that took their work stress away, and made them feel comfortable and at peace. They realised the answer lay in the ancient Japanese philosophy of wabi sabi—the idea of celebrating things with their natural imperfections, just as nature intended. To design this 800-square-feet apartment, they sought the help of Anand Deshmukh and Chetan Lahoti, lead architects, Mind Manifestation Design, who collaborated with Saar that custom-made all the furniture
