Artist, Ganesh Panda : The Housethome Curated Art Series.

Born in a small village in Orissa, Ganesh Panda always had a knack for art and creatvity since his childhood. Upon completing a degree in fine arts from the Government College of Art and Craft, at Khalikot in Orissa, he set out to create a name for himself in the city of dreams Mumbai, India.

The struggle of adjusting to the city was a tough job. Facing the hardships that came along his way, he never even thought of going back. He progressed from being a visualizer, to an art director, to setting up his own art agency and finally pursuing art full time.

For the last 25 years he has focused on doing what he loves the most-painting with a palette knife. As some things are meant to be, he chanced upon palette knife by accident at an art competition in college. The painting that he created using palette knife won him first place in the competition. And so, the wonderful journey between Ganesh and his palette knife began.

He has showcased his art works in many popular art galleries in Mumbai as well as abroad. There are many proud owners of his paintings in India as well as many other countries. He hopes people enjoy his paintings, as much as he enjoys painting them.
