Shraddha Rathi (b. 1974) is an architecture graduate from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Maharashtra. During her years in the architectural practice working on interior design projects, she created artworks for her clients and decided, in 2007, to take up painting as a full-time profession. Having spent her formative years in Aurangabad, home to Ajanta and Ellora caves, she was exposed to ancient Indian art and craft which went on to influence her own artworks. Her paintings combine traditional Indian values and modern experiences with the expressions of beauty, aspirations and humanity.
