A Cosy, 2bhk Bengaluru Home, designed for a young couple

Source: Housethome

Bengaluru based Design Firm, House of Ruya designs a Cosy, 2bhk in Bengaluru, for a Young Couple & their little one. Elegance, minimalism and functionality find their ways into this abode. An East facing main door marks the entrance right inside the living room. The soft white brick wall facing the entrance complements the black metal and oak wood finished library in the living. The clients being avid readers, the books became the highlight of the space.

The Dining Room >> Being the central space in the house , the dining connects all the other rooms in the apartment. The dining table with the dome light acts as the anchor element in this transitional space while maintaining the monochromatic tone. The reeded glass and metal partition acts as a backdrop for the dining while carving out a nook for the pooja and wash.

The Master Bedroom >> The wardrobe in the master bedroom became the key element of the space. The warm and soothing space was well contrasted with the classical textures of rattan and wood. Thus, adding a layer of textural interest.

Kitchen Transformation >> We modified the existing utility and kitchen and combined them to make a large open kitchen!

The Guest Bedroom >> We planned to keep the room simple with subtle details. Elements of color and texture were introduced through the green tinted wooden wardrobe shutters contrasted beautifully with black sleek handles and a soft a pink on the walls. We included drawers in the bottom for the little one to easily access her toys and belongings.
