Artist, Ashis Mondal is a contemporary painter whose practice is driven by an enduring inquiry into energy, motion, and the inner dimensions of human existence. Trained at the Indian College of Art and Craftsmanship under Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, he has sustained a focused and evolving studio practice for over two decades.
At the heart of his imagery lies the recurring presence of the horse, rendered not as a literal subject but as an enduring metaphor.
