This 2,000 odd sqft, 3bed + study apartment, being a corner unit had to its advantage unrestricted views from its balconies and windows of the sky and the green spaces outside and beyond. The design that evolved was one that tapped into this, which is often seen lacking in modern day apartments.
“In order to give the space a modern yet earthy and youthful ambience we decided to stick to a largely neutral palette for the walls and floor in the living and dining space. The existing laminated wooden flooring was done away with and replaced with cement finished vitrified tile flooring. A white painted brick wall was introduced, creating a chic backdrop to complement the modern styling of the living space. The space built on a palette of neutral tones opens gently and then all at once embraces a burst of indigo blue on the far end wall. The feature wall forms the backdrop for the dining table.” shares Design Firm, Studio Zoha, with the #Housethome Team.
