If we had to describe architect Kavan Shah’s body of work in one word, it would be gritty, dramatic and au naturel. “This home is tucked away in a beautiful village in south Goa named Navelim. Goa is known for its rich Portuguese heritage and architecture. Hence the clients main requirement was to preserve this feature as well incorporate modern amenities. The total built up area is 195sqmts, G+1 and it is a 5bhk bungalow which was reconstructed by demolishing the existing old structure.

Located in a rather quiet suburban area of Ahmedabad, our recent project Taavish sits in the middle of a gated community that exudes serenity. Housing a family of five, along with a pet dog and an African Gray parrot, the client’s brief stated that the residential space should be as serene as the community itself.
Enveloped in an earthy palette, this 1,410 sq. ft home in Surat is tranquillity wrapped in tradition. A breath-taking lime-plastered wall in rust, detailed with grey tile and wooden moulding, becomes the first glance of this three-bedroom home named ‘Shajanand Viha‘.
