“This nursery, formerly a guest bedroom, was briefed to be a comfortable yet functional child-friendly room. The clients’ primary requirement was to have a kid-friendly space with neutral colors and accents of gender-specific color subtly incorporated into the design. Going with the brief, the sage green of the wainscoting, white walls, and other furniture were decided before the baby was born.

The plot, sits within a community of 15 other bungalows, which had to abide to the Builder’s common plans, facade planning, finishing treatment and appearance. Due to these constraints, the internal spaces and planning became our way to experiment with the design of this house.

This home is tucked away in a beautiful village in south Goa named Navelim. Goa is known for its rich Portuguese heritage and architecture. Hence the clients main requirement was to preserve this feature as well incorporate modern amenities. The total built up area is 195sqmts, G+1 and it is a 5bhk bungalow which was reconstructed by demolishing the existing old structure.
